Hi,
Don't know how many audio tracks you want to use. But I use sometimes more than 20 and have never noticed any difference between my 7200 Desktop HD or 5400 Notebook HD. (I use PC's but that shouldn't be different).
Regardz,
Jos from Ravenglass

I've got an RME HDSP Multiface and Emu 1820M Digital Audio System. Allthough the Emu is highly flexible, has better conveters, inboard dsp effects, and more inputs/outputs and features, the RME seems to be more stable. In fact, the RME is very stable and I've never had problems with it performing li...

Again: Group solo like in Cubase
I've had two wishes for Live 6. The first one was a professional mixer showing levels and peak levels. It does now and this is very handy. :) The second wish did not come true: Group solo like in Cubase, one click soloing of all tracks that have their output linked to a 'Group' track. In Live it's p...

As far as I know 'Electronica' is an American term for all kinds of breakbeat, techno and house genres. I think it's changing now, but they're not that much aware of the differences as we are in Europe (Yes, the UK is in Europe too). (This lack of genre awareness can have advantages too. :) ) Electr...

Re: Amsterdam User Group (AUG)
Yeah, I've been waiting for this! :) I'm in a live breakbeat band. Two of or members (including me) do use Live. And we use it live on stage with two laptops. Count me in... 8) Jos www.ravenglass.nl (all music created with Live and live musicians) [quote="Nixon"] And off course, Holland is...

Well, I was using Cubase since the Atari Days. I heard from Ableton first in Computer Music Magazine, but it seemed so different to the way I worked that I didn't get the idea. Then all my friends from bands like Artefact and Buddha Building start using it and were asking me why I didn't. I could se...
