Re: ableton live 8 at mac pro xeon quad core 3 ghz
thanks thomas, I love ACE, too and well its worth getting a newer model of mac pro, terrible its not using multicore. All that processors at 15% (average) doing nothing, well checking system time or anything stupid, shit I want more power!!!

Re: ableton live 8 at mac pro xeon quad core 3 ghz
Well, using the macbook pro or the mac intel dual core above 2 ghz I even can`t play two polyphone notes using ACE-UHE at accurate mode, so its a beast. Would be interesting if someone knows the performance difference between the different mac pro`s. I read Live don`t support 64-bit, but I don`t kno...

ableton live 8 at mac pro xeon quad core 3 ghz
hi, is anyone using a mac pro quad core xeon? I got mine today and I`m not sure I want to sent it back. It`s one of the older ones something at 2008, it has 2 quad core 3 Ghz processor 64-bit and 4GB Ram at the moment. It`s the woodcrest one if someone knows. Before I got a macmini Intel Duo and a m...

I guess its the groove, not the pitch, that clashes.

Re: operator sub bass glitch, why?
Thanks a lot oddstep, I did already think about the phase, but not at the end points, think you are right , that could be the reason.
Do you mean the phase retrigger function? The small R at the OSC`S?

operator sub bass glitch, why?
Hi, read that some years ago, but I also here some strange glitches in the attack when I play sub bass with operator. Full Sustain and no matter what attack or release, there`s a small break between the notes, so no overlap exists. You don`t hear that in the mix, but in a break for example. I did al...

Re: Control selected track \w keyboard shortcuts
Thank you wiffbi, it`s now working great and I`m very glad its working. Your my man and your patch is really done the way I had done it (if I could...). All the Controller and patches I know didn`t get it (except the 8 macro controls perhaps), cause I had always to think where am I? Oh Shit, I use t...

Re: Control selected track \w keyboard shortcuts
Hi wiffbi,
thanks a lot for the update, so far I couldn`t get my korg nanokontrol at work, sending absolute CC at channel 1.
I don`t know to much about CC messages, but should it be 7-bit absolute Controller?
So far it behaves like zero/full level.
Thanks

Re: Control selected track \w keyboard shortcuts
Thats exactly what I searched for a long time. If I could use all the shortcuts via my controllers it would be really great. So far I use the Korg Nanokontrol, Launchpad and APC 40, some stuff from Touch OSC, too. The structure only seems to make it possible to use relative mode controllers. I don`t...
