Topic: why are multiple cells lighting in Battery2 for one drum
Replies: 4

look on the parameter page at the bottom called "cell." there you will see what note or notes the cell is assigned to. u can then press the midi learn and strike the note u want that cell to be triggered by, or, use the mouse to change the note or range.

no, hes talking about battery.
mate, right click on the cells you want to save and re-open in a new kit, and select "Save cell." BAM.

as far as the allkits, they take samples from, all the kits, but the samples are not duplicated in another dedicated folder.

i know with cubase, you could route its midi tracks to reason instruments.
with live as a rewire slave, VST plugins are disabled, but i dont think its natives are - impulse, operator, simpler. so i would assume you can do this with logic, as im sure i could with cubase.

there is no certain way to do it, just do it. you do most the same things u do in session - move - copy - paste - re-arrange - but, more consolidation, maybe.

warp the whole track.
then create clips from that.
its all in the manual.
save yourself a lot of time, and read it. a few times.

now im working on getting this to work from a midi CC or note. The PD patch works great, but in the end i hope to achieve this without having to have a midi keyboard in my live rig - rather my bcr2000, uc33, or uc17 (none of these have a pitchbend wheel.) ill be happy to just use plogue or Bome's to...

^ son, u need to warp marker everything! u could use his trick to correct bad warping, but it'd be better practice to just warp right, and not rely on that...this trick will be great for when beatmatching ableton to cd/ vinyl back and forth, last week i played at my residency here, and sometimes for...

hit CTRL-I and look at the outputs the master and cue are set to.
one should be 1/2, the other 3/4.

im guessing you have both on 1/2.

if 1/2 is the only option go to audio preferences and click output config, and activate 3/4.

i have used ableton in many a kick ass nite of a party. no one's complained yet, on the contrary, its always gone over well. while i may tell a difference if i try, between the warmth of playing back mp3s (not ableton necessarily) versus vinyl, 1) im too busy spinning with it and having fun 2) ive b...

the behringer bc series can do encoder acceleration, which would let you do high-resolution tweaks AND go from zero to full in about a half turn of the knob. You may have to set up a template of your own instead of using the "boot-in-mackie-mode" way, but it's definitely doable. ahh i see...

here's what u need to understand if you dont: it doesnt matter where you save your CLIPS, or where you move them to, or what you name or rename them - after doing so, if u ever move the WAV it references to, you will have to relocate it when u load one of those clips. so id suggest maybe making a li...

u need a controller, ala BCR2000, with many buttons u can assign things to. then maybe move on to using the feet after that? but u need to get a feel for what does what, and the best way is with many buttons, not just a mouse... example... 2 tracks, each has a stop, play, and record enable assigned ...
