no. the drum machine kits we are talking about are available from ableton's website. essentially they are drum racks created from classic drum machine samples. and it's free (I'm pretty sure).

ah, that's why it wasn't working properly (got it to show up finally). BUT - I'm not able to d/l the Live 8 version. I'm getting "sending request" but that's as far as it gets to downloading.

wtf, i'm doing exactly as it says. it's not showing up. agggghhhhhhh

can't figure out how to upload my screen shot (can you? or does it have to be hosted somewhere?),

but anyway, my folder looks exactly the same, except on a mac, still it's not showing up in Live. Gonna re-download and try again. This is bumming me out.

btw, thank you for creating this. I hope I can get it to work.

sorry for the noob question, but I have never used or installed a Remote Script before. How do I go about it? This looks great.

This is the first time i've watched any sampling tutorials on Maschine. I'm a Live user and nothing else, but before that, I made beats on an MPC1000. This makes me want to get Push and Maschine and use them both side by side. Sampling sure looks a lot more fun on the Maschine.

I feel ya man. My channel 2 fader is messed up. If I move it the software fader jumps around un-controllably. I've confirmed it's hard-ware problem because I tested it on Traktor and it does the same thing. I love my APC40 and I am also deciding if I should order a replacement fader and fix it myse...

thanks everyone for chiming in on this thread. so just to recap as i'm finally picking up a sansamp this week:

bass -> sansamp driver -> mackie -> m-audio interface -> guitar rig ->compressor (and EQ just before it if needed).

GR acts as the cab sim correct?

It seems difficult to make them realistic unless you use one of Live Suite's multi-sampled kits, which may or may not always sound the way you want.
