move marker to cursor position?
good day, just a quick question: is there a way, maybe a shortcut, to move the marker in the arrangement view to the current cursor position? i'd like to be able to stop playback at a certain point and press ctrl+e to split a clip at the current cursor position (not the current marker position). as ...

Re: "preset can not be loaded. It's probably broken.
I just switched to Live 8 suite from 7 suite. When I try to play the Analog presets just now I get this message. What is wrong? What do I do? any chance you accidentially ran live 7 and tried to load live 8 presets? just sayin' as i have a friend whose friend did just that and wondered what the hec...

Re: zerobae - all fields are required
thanks!
the drums come from goldbaby's vinyl drum machines, i forget the source for the bass, but i ran it through a schippmann filter tweaking knobs. pad is basically analog. then a lot of live's vocoder on the drums and heavy use of urs heckmann's uhbik all over.

Re: hey Live nerds, how do I do this?
you can select all clips in the track and then midi-map a knob to the transpose controller in the clip view. this way you don't have to do it for every clip individually.

Re: pricing makes no sense to me
i'm not complaining it's too pricey, but it makes no sense: i get two offers, where one gives me less for more money. it can't be fully thought through.

pricing makes no sense to me
let me start by saying i'll upgrade to live 8 anyway, because it's fantastic. i don't really mind upgrade fees are higher this time, because the update is big, too. yet i can't figure out the pricing scheme and that's what's holding me back from purchasing now: it seems like there's glitches in the ...
