Re: Using external gear + other tracks with Monitor 'In'
It sounds like you are hearing the incoming sounds twice, hence the phasing. You probably have "hardware monitoring" or "low latency monitoring" turned on for your audio interface. If your audio interface has a dedicated software control panel or mixer outside of Live, make sure...

Re: Using external gear + other tracks with Monitor 'In'
What are you using for an audio interface? Generally, when working with hardware instruments (particularly in Ableton Live), you wanna leave track monitoring OFF, and use your interface's direct monitoring capabilities instead. Not only do you run the risk of the phasing issues you described when y...

Using external gear + other tracks with Monitor 'In'
Set Up: Edirol PCR 800, Korg TR Rack, Ableton I just hooked up my set up to a new audio interface and able to get sound. The only problem is that when I play instruments from my rack, all the tracks switched to Monitor 'In' also play the sounds from my rack (all my bus tracks play the rack sounds to...

Where is this noise coming from?
How do I find out where this noise is coming from? It's only noticeable when I have a compressor and limiter on my master. I can't see any signal causing it on any one of my tracks.

Ableton 9: Audio Clip Envelope - "Transpose" ...Where is it?
I used to be able to 'transpose' an audio clip for cool vocal pitch up automations just before the drop. But now I can't find this feature in Ableton 9...does anyone know where it is? http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x292/bigbonthabeat/Screen%20Shot%202015-06-11%20at%204.11.40%20PM.png Even in thi...

Reason 4 and Ableton 9
I tried following these instructions (https://www.ableton.com/en/pages/rewire/reason_4/) to rewire Reason 4 into Ableton 9, but the "Reason" option didn't show up under "audio from" in ableton. Any suggestions?

Mid-Side Processing in Ableton
What is the proper way to process Mid-Side information in Ableton? I'm just learning about this technique to get a 'wider' sound. Any input on this?

Re: free 64 bit Audio Analyzer like "s(m)exoscope"
I have MAnalyzer (free plug in, not the Multi). I'm looking for waveform visuals like s(m)exoscope I'm assuming you're on the Mac? You can see what other plug-ins that get suggested, but to the best of my knowledge there is only the MMultiAnalyzer that has this capability. At least I couldn't find ...

Re: Audio Interface Recommendation: Resident Audio vs. Focusrite
If you're willing to wait, focusrite announced a new series of Thunderbolt interfaces called their Clarett range. Because their Saffire series were already within the upper pack of low-latency options, their pre-amps have noteriety, I'd be curious to know when these come out whether the drivers are...
