All, i figured out the trick -- set up IAC (use the Audio Midi Setup app in Mac, do a spotlight search on it, activate the device by double clicking on the driver and selecting that check box) set up 3 buttons CCs on the remote zero, each as a kill switch for the low frequency on each of the three a...

if i understand what you are saying, you are recommending automap... that's not exactly what i want to do. I am not a big fan of automap, especially in a live situation. so is there an alternate way to achieve this result? the main purpose behind this is to make a midpoint between standard EQing tra...

Routing to Reaktor
Hi, I am experimenting with reaktor. I load it onto a channel as an FX and I want to control the reaktor parameters with my Midi controller. Does anyone know how to do this? I know how to get midi learn on, but there seems to be incoming midi routing signal to ableton, but not to reaktor. Any help w...

Audio Sample Librarian
Does anyone have any recommendations for a windows based audio sample organizer / librarian? Been looking for a bit on the web and can't find much other than synth-specific midi librarians.
Thank you.

Figured it out - initially
Thank you all!
After I posted this thread and got a bunch of really positive responses and tips, I was able to (easily) get the Remote SL automap feature going.
I'm sold.
I love it. Now I want a 2nd one! Not sure if I would use it live, but in studio use is amazing.

What Synths / VSTs / techniques make the best Trance Leads?
The subject says it all... Wonder if anyone is willing to share tips and tricks on making those really punchy, rich, melodic leads used in trance music? Is it a combination of starting with the right synths? hardware or vst? and then processings them? stacking / reverbs / delays / choruses? Any idea...
