My partner and I collaborate cross-platform, and have experienced a few issues that seem unique to this arrangement. I've inquired on this forum about some of those issues, but gotten no real confirmations or responses... So now I'm thinking.... Are we the only people in the world working cross-plat...

Numerous "buck-passing" emails and phone calls with various support people at MOTU, Ableton, UVI, and Spectrasonics, and..... We are no closer to just CONFIRMING the problem, much less getting it fixed...... Crap.. screw it.. into the waste-bin with all the other chattel... we'll find othe...

It's worth checking out the Garritan Personal Orchestra. Upside, very useable sounds, includes pretty much the whole orchestra, with variations. I quite like the quality of the strings, esp. Can anyone help us to confirm this problem???? THE PROBLEM: UVI-plugins + Live 6.0.3, PC <-> Mac... save and send a set to the other platform, those plugins "forget" what presets were loaded and saved with the set.... We have to reload all the presets EVERY time we open a set saved on the ...

Yes, of course! We kind of have to, since those are the only ones that will work cross-platform.... ;) I have both AU and VST versions of most plugins installed here, and even tried turning off the "use AU folder" option in Live preferences, so only the VST versions are available. Even so,...

Try Barnes & Noble, both local in-store AND online.....

I picked mine up just a couple of days ago from a local B&N.... (and they had about 5 copies left there!)
