Bought a 15" pro three weeks ago, mainly for firewire, I would jump at that 13" inch now if I hadn't bought though.

I've gotten used of the screen size now though so I've no regrets.

Here's hoping Snow Leopard and OpenGL will allow us to use these fancy GPUs for audio processing

My old white macbook crapped out on me last week,gonna get it fixed but got a new Macbook Pro in the mail to tide me over

Will be getting applecare on this one.

So, to me, 'organic' relates to non-synthesized instruments like hand drums, flutes, guitars, etc. Interesting. To me, the organic constituent of a track lies more in the fluidity of the articulation between the different parts of the track, bewteen layers inside the same part and inside the layers...

vsts and aus are responsible for the majority of crashes in Live and other software in my experience. Usually if you let both vendors know, a fix will occur within a few weeks. Noticed I had no problems at the weekend running off the internal card, any other Ultralite users having severe probs with 8 ?

Encountering more bugs now than I did while beta testing. Random crashes doing stuff like zooming on a midi clip, changing from simpler to sampler, not very repeatable but it's crapping out on me about 5 times a day now.
