Re: Push developer kit: M4L devices for Push!
Yes, as stated in the bug list, it is definitely a bug and shouldn't be the default behavior. It would be stupid to require the user all the time to remember deactivating the device before deleting. Maybe some m4l developers can find a solution. - If you connect closebang with the "release_con...

Re: Thoughts on Push by those who have it now?
Okay, haven't used that. maybe worth checking out. But we should compare apples with apples. Both Push and M******e are full solutions consisting of hardware, controller logic and the backend software. It sounds as if the native control stuff is riding on top of existing hardware (Launchpad) and so...

Re: Sitting on the Fence - Push or Maschine
Sounds like there is a little bit of a misunderstanding here. I thought, you were complaining that you can only access patterns either by "extracting" them from whole demo songs or create your own, hence arguing that NI marketing is misleading. And I tried to explain that this is not the ...

Re: Sitting on the Fence - Push or Maschine
I’d like to file a complaint/question about Maschine. I recently bought some expansion packs, mostly for the samples and styles they represent, but also for the patterns that I sometimes find as a good starting point. Each pack supposedly comes with like 100 patterns each as advertised by NI’s spec...

Re: Sitting on the Fence - Push or Maschine
This thread is somewhat addictive, even though I know it's a waste of time (as by now, the actual value of the comments is zero), I keep reading....and posting :-) to firstly position me in this "war": I did buy Maschine two years ago, but never really got into it which is more testament t...

Re: Thoughts on Push by those who have it now?
As much as I liked Maschine, I don't think, it allowed you to define and save custom control mappings for 3rd party plugins "Kore style", or did I miss that ? You did miss it. Maschine does allow you to define and save custom control mappings for 3rd party plugins and save that as the def...

Re: Thoughts on Push by those who have it now?
What if you configure the vst and put it in a rack... then load that rack whenever you want to use the vst. Would that save the configuration? Yep - this is what I've been doing. The nice thing is that this way, I can load it via Push too This is also one of the things that I find "interesting...

Re: Sitting on the Fence - Push or Maschine
I am kind of wondering how there can be 26 pages of discussion on whether Maschine or Push is better. I am not saying, there is a clear "winner" but there is clear pro's and con's which would lead one down a certain path...no convincing required I own Maschine (and like it), but I am about...
