Thank you, but I dont see any place in the inspector where I can choose to not send the output as signals, and if I write the object as remote without ~, it becomes a bogus object I think you actually need to feed it an audio signal to get to operate at audio rate. Though the question has been aske...

I'd love to use that Novation step sequencer on the APC40. It's the first one i've seen that let's you input velocity and length etc, quite easily. However, it seems like you are forced to be in a certain scale, confined to 8 notes. That sounds very limiting.I like the 8 note idea (goes with the bu...

You can use live.remote, but not necessarily at audio rate. That'll solve the CPU hit.
