no CDs...just a book. Yay ableton. They can suck it.filter_7 wrote:@H20nly: my question is about to buy or not the Live box which contains the manual and the cds....
So if Ableton server is fast the download is not a problem.

Live 9 upgrade path a RIP OFF - from a loyal user
Well I would say this is a stupid question live has a unique workflow when my compositions are done I can mix and master or I can bring them on stage with controllers and rock a party. This 9 upgrade upset me so much. First of all, to get the 40GB content I had to spend $700 on new packs. I had live...

Re: EIC2 & Session Drums, a review
I've received the Box Suite last Friday. After playing and composing for some days I've decided to share my impressions with you. Although it's impossible for me to reach Tarekith professional review level, I'll do my best. Consider it as a 'Casual user review'. Conclusion A good buy, both EIC2 and...

Re: MFB 503 & MFB 522 - Anyone have either? Thoughts?
Follow up question: Are the MFB drum machines like the 808 in that the kick doesn't sound exactly the same every time (slightly different as a result of the analog circuit)? The 503 has two kicks, one is more airy and could be shaped into an 808 like kick, the other is big and fat wit a nice attack...

Re: Drumcomputer MFB-503...
I beg to differ. Just got a 503. It is great and full and has huge kick snare and hat that all blow away any samples I have. Throw some processing on this kit and it can be whatever you want it to be. The manual is idosyncratic, I'm trying to slave it to midi so I can edit the beat in live and get t...

Re: Shoutout to STRAY (NativeKontrol)!
Cool, thanks for the feedback. I'm satisfied with the scripts and looking forward to push as well, I'll probably snag the bundle when it comes out. I'd almost rather always play on a keyboard but I'm sure pushes features will help songwriting workflow which is all I want to do, write and record my o...

Re: Shoutout to STRAY (NativeKontrol)!
CL3,TC3 and MapEase are completly different, but you can read about in detail on the nativekontrol hp. if i wouldn`t have a launchpad too i think i would have the same problem deciding which script to take but so, with the launchpad and lpc i got the most important functions (imo) from CL3.... and ...

Re: Shoutout to STRAY (NativeKontrol)!
I just purchased the full script package CL3 plus TC3 (I assume that includes CL1 since CL3's description includes CL1). From basic stuff like giving you more than two sends to control to the chord control in clip function, reminds me of why I kept my korg M3, those white buttons I could assign exte...

Re: Live 8.3 failed side by side configuration incorrect
What is the deal with this? Why does the programdata directory appear to be invisible when I install to my C: drive but appears in the directory structure of my samples drive if I install there. (to yet again get the error message) I'm installing onto a brand new ADK machine, i7 6 core. blah blah bl...
