going crazy trying to warp a full guitar and voice tracks
Hi ! Ok I want to create some electronic rythms around a pretty guitar and a nice vocal tracks. The problem is that I did the editing and all the stuff quickly, and it sounds good to me the way it is. I haven't cared at all about tempo and all thoses revoreded tracks are unwarped. Now is the painful...

Jog wheel for heavy editing
Hi ! I am looking for jog wheel to help me do editing on ableton live. I know ableton live is not the perfect tool to do editing, but for me it does the job quite well, especialty thanks to the auto fade in/out on each clip, and the cut time. I would like to know if there is a jog wheel that is popu...

Re: Bounce clip to move on
Thanks for you answer. However I am looking for a solution to use while composing with Push 2. Going back to the computer is rather a workflow killer. So why aren't you posting to the Push forum if you had that limitation? There exists already a discussion there; Freeze midi and move to audio track...

Re: Bounce clip to move on
Hi, Ok let's say I have few clips in an audio or midi track. One of those clips is interesting. I want to isolate it, put some EQ/effects on it (maybe automation), and make a new clip from the result, so I can easily move on, and reuse it knowing it sounds good. What would be the easier and fastest...

Re: Is using synth presets 'cheating'?
no it's not.
Cheating is when you screw someone else than your partner without them knowing.

Re: MPC 1000 vs. Maschine mikro
I had maschine for a long time but I feel like it lost it's way along updates, and it became bloated. I now use Push 2 and it is amazing, everything in ableton live is much easier to create from A to Z. If I want to go out of the computer to jam I REALLY go all the way with hardware such as Korg Vol...

Re: MPC 1000 vs. Maschine mikro
Korg Volca Sample. Cheap fun easy to use.
The way it is layed out you will be making techno beats the first day you buy it.
And you can import samples with an iPhone. Always on the go !

creating custom shortkeys
Hi
I would like a custom short key. Something to scrub with the playhead with my keyboard instead of the mouse. Is that possible?

Amazing, thanks a lotyur2die4 wrote:There is a directory of defaults in your library.
Just remove your eq default from that and live will use the standard default.

Where are default settings stored ?
Hi !! Let say I set up an audio channel with some personal settings. Then right click on it, "save as default". Same for EQ8, I activate some option, then save device as default. Cool. But now, if I want to get back the orignal ableton live default setting, the one that comes when live is ...

Push groove function
Hi,
I think I've seen in some videos that the new push 2 has some kind of groove function that you can apply on a drum rack, or individual sounds... I am not sure about it.
How does it work? Is it related to the Groove pool that we have in the traditional ableton live UI ?
Thanks

I'm looking to buy a Mac laptop (probably MBP); does anyone know of any issues with their inbuilt audio devices and drivers? Is there an equivalent of "Asio4all" on mac?
