I am on 9.2.3 64-bit (Windows 7 64-bit) and thinking about updating to 9.6.1. Is it in your opinion as stable and as fast as 9.2.3...? Is there any problems with old projects? I am using simpler very much and am worried that when I open old projects they will not sound the same or behave the same. W...

my wild guess would be that Ableton will want part of this Christmas sale with Push2 and went bit ahead of the things. Anyway I will be in 9.2.x for a while until it is stable enough

A bit offtopic but:

Live 9.5 came out like a lightning from the sky. Even minor updates like 9.2.x have quite long beta testing period so how is it possible that a major update like 9.5 does not have a public beta testing period...?

It takes two long to freeze the whole track if you need only a small portion. Also the CTRL-D and Flatten steps consume a little bit of time.
