Re: Favourite new ANALOGUE synth?

Cant really decide between Pulse 2 and MiniBrute.. As someone mentioned, there is only a 3D model of the Pulse 2. No sound demos, no nothing.. Specs seems promising, but until i hear how it sounds, i can only hope that its going to be a killer synth. MiniBrute seems like a really fun synth to play w...

Re: Cool iphone music apps for boring times.. Know any?

iMaschine is fun but pretty limited. Needs more features imo.. Even with its limitations, it is my most used music making app! If you want more of a full DAW you should check out NanoStudio. The UI can be annoying with iPhones small screen. But it is a daw on your phone!! Rythm is also fun little mu...

Re: Novation Launchpad (+may be Nocturn) or APC 40 for a newbee

About the learning curve of the APC40, I saw some tutorial on it and they seems a bit complex...so I don't know... what am i reading? :D APC = Direct control of Lives parameters = As simple as it gets LP = Direct control of clips + menu jumping and midi tweaking for other parameters. = Quite simple...

Re: mopho + blofeld v virus

i agree to a certain extent, but looking for a purer analog sound to add to mixes Then get the Mopho. Blofeld and Virus are virtual analog synths and they sound like virtual analog synths. They do sound good though.. By the way, you could get a used Virus C or B (module) from ebay for 400-600€. Tha...

Re: NI Komplete or something else?

Get Komplete. It's not like you have to learn every instrument, today. It's nice always having something new to learn. I'm just getting into Reaktor and loving it. This is while Massive remains a go to synth. And maybe tomorrow I'll be like, what is this FM8? Plus, there's tons of 3rd party preset ...

Re: Best mixing desk to use with Live?

If you have the money you should check out Allen & Heaths Zed R-16. Mixer, control surface and firewire audio interface all in the same package. It only has 60mm non motorized faders though. Otherwise it seems like a really nice mixing desk.
