Re: Over-engineering Musical Solutions
However i do have to challenge the notion of anemic mixes because of heavy eq cuts. Successful sound design should make that cutting process invisible to the listener. I'm thinking FSOL who always maintain audacious use of eq to fit things in. A shit mix is a shit mix but sounds blended with eq filt...

http://innerportalstudio.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/StupidFans-300x225.jpg New post from my blog: One of the more interesting aspects of living in Europe compared to the US, is how differently they build things. Lots more concrete, no drywall, attention to air quality inside, more str...

Re: Hardware synths vs sofware synhs
Well made hardware will potentially last a lifetime. Software will last as long as the next gen update allows. Software is by virtue of the marketplace ephemeral (especially if it's apple!) so how can we as artists expect to develop any kind of longterm relationship with it? I've heard this argumen...

Re: Paid Ableton and Cracked Plugins?
You may not yet appreciate the time and cost of production of these tools but how much do you value your own time, privacy and information? The amount of crap/virus/loggers etc that will end up on your computer is ime not worth it. Not talking scare tactics either. Maybe some hack with some misguide...

Re: 9.1.7 whole section of context menu not there for audio clip

9.1.7 whole section of context menu not there for audio clip
Weird behavior and not sure if it started with the installation of ClyphX or not. Sometimes in a project I will like said above lose ability to delete copy duplicate a clip there is only a selection of 5 or six functions. Forgot to grab a screen shot. Also cannot rename tracks but if I reload the pr...

is 0 api docs on controllers stunting push community dev?
Seems to be some interested parties out there but nothing comparable to developments in the monome community. I had thought that maybe this was one possible direction ableton was gonna drive development/community interest but why is the controller section of the api still undocumented I wonder and i...

Re: Company Review: Focusrite - A+
Have had many positive experiences with customer servive with both Novation and focusrite over the years. I think thier service department has been merged for quite some time now. They have helped me keep my supernova going with parts and schematics sometimes not even charging me and waiving postage...

Re: How to toggle VST GUIs using Push?
Not possible from the api afaik. It's a shame but it seems that the plugin has to be mouse clicked first before it will respond to keystrokes ctrl+alt+p (win) so even if using clyphx to send keystrokes it still requires the mouse click
