Why did you do that?

There are only two LEDs- a red and a green. Both lit makes amber, therefore both LEDs are lit when a clip is present but not playing. If you want to mess with that, go nuts. You'd likely have to unsolder and replace all the LEDs.

I just looked up the EMU 404, and I'm finding it only has one stereo output in the form of two mono 1/4" jacks. The SPDIF output in stereo cards is always going to produce the same audio as the analog outs.

Using a PC with MIDIOX and another MIDI interface to patch MIDI out to the PDX3000 is an option. I don't think there is a non- computer way to do it.
