Re: Will NAMM bring us anything new for the push?
God please don't put an effin' mod or pitch wheel on Push. That would look so stupid and the fact it would probably snap off when you put it in a bag. "Well put it in a $200 hard case" is not a valid retort.

Push's clip colors do not match those of Ableton's clips.
Ok this is really doing me in and would love if someone could help me. Maybe I can go into the script and re-do the colors of Push's clips to match Live's clip colors better? I've tried explaining this to the support team, but Ive brushed off like it's no big deal that the current color matching bet...

Re: FREE: DX7 patch editor & virtual synth.
Really great plugin. I use it as a companion to my DX7 and to do realtime editing, patch saving and loading as well. Sounds really really close to the real thing also. Much more so than FM8.

Access to Stop, Mute, Solo,Track Select while in Device Mode
I apologize in advance for the bitch fest that's about to ensue. I'd like to know why this doesn't seem to bother anyone but me? Maybe nobody needs the feature that I'm going to try and explain, but I'm sure everyone would use it. It rages me so much to go through the steps of accessing Stop, Mute, ...

Re: any DX7 / TX7 users out there? (hardware!)
Reviving this old thread to let people know about a most ultimate and free cross platform (windows/mac/linux) VST DX7 Emulator and also doubles as a real time editor for your DX7 with library/patch loading and saving. First, I must say the Emulation is quite possibly the closest I've heard to a real...

For the modern world. No. Perhaps for very niche markets... and old people.

Re: Novation Launch Control XL - be careful
First of all - 8 macros are not the problem. The problem is integrating a large VST with 128 parameters. I have access to 24 knobs, 8 faders, and 16 buttons x 8 USER and 7 Factory presets...so I could control a ton of parameters with it (which was the point of buying it). Second, I can save it with...

2012 MB Pro 2.3 quadcore, will it handle Massive and Diva?
So I just got my tax returns and I'm going to purchase some new equipment which might be a new laptop. I'm wondering if a 2012 Macbook Pro i7 2.3GHz quad core would be able to handle about 3 instances of Massive with unison set to 3-4 voices and a few instances of Diva at the same time? Along with h...

Re: Bitwig looks shit...
Metadata based browser FTW (as they say these days). Ableton, look at these guys. This is what we want in the Live browser. Thing is, we all have little ideas that would make the program better for us, I for one would like to see a brain to audio function. Everyone seems to be banging on about how ...

and whatnot. And what is the whatnot? Is the whatnot so hard to explain that it really does need to be omitted and replaced with an "and whatnot"? Instead of actually using a language Im going to replace all words with "and whatnot" since people already know what I mean anyways....

Re: Bitwig 1.0
I will probably jump ship, or at least use it along side Ableton. There's so many damn features that it just obliterates what Live is capable of for studio and live work. I'm just fed up with Live's tech support playing stupid and or getting no response from them period. I'm also very upset with the...

Keep focus of Note Mode when adjusting parmeters in Return?
Super busy right now and don't have much free time to spare, sorry if this comes of as being lazy. But is there a way to keep Push's Note Mode Locked to a specific midi channel while trying to adjust the parameters of a Return track? Or the parameters of any other track for that matter? Kinda lame i...

Re: is it possible to assign colour to Drumrack pad on Push
This would be awesome! Not only would it be great for Push, but also when looking at the drumrack and being able to quickly identify where your kicks, snares, hats, etc (if you color code them) and going in to edit via mouse or force the focus on Push's display. Currently, you can set the color of t...
