hi guys my firewire card shows up in the my network connections when i install it hence i cant acces the internet but when i take the firewire card out again all is well again is this a irq conflict please help

the only thing with the Mackie Onyx Satellite is the price drop may mean it will be discontinued when they sell the stock they have. its such a hard decision what to get with firewire everybody says something different wish i wasnt a newbie on firewire oh well i think i will just sit tight for a lit...
