Hi, I have a 1.67 powerbook w/live5.2. The performance leaves a lot to be desired. Try a external firewire drive. I run the application on my internal, and record to an external firewire drive. My internal is 7200rpm, most stock laptops are 5400rpm. that is a big factor. I can run about 12- 18 track...
