drag set into a new set. live 5

Hello all, Maybe this is possible in live 8, and I can't wait to update myself, but currently my situation is: I am working on a set that has a sample that is "missing" or "corrupt", I forget the phrase. In a section of this set, there is a processor intensive spot that shoots th...

Bumping.. Any thoughts from anyone regarding multiple takes? As stated, when I try to drag the right edge of clip in arrangement, it loops the same 16 bars( or whatever length the loop bracket is), as opposed to unfolding the multiple takes.

Multiple takes in Live 5

Hello, I read recently a topic posted by Tarekith over on Big Blue Lounge regarding multiple takes. Basically, from what I gather, you set the loop brace in arrangement view, and then drag the right edge to unfold/unwrap the successive takes. I tried this and was not successful. First I had to engag...

there is a master send and a cue send. when you solo a track, it sends it out the cue send.. maybe this is why your audio is jumping back and forth between channels?? just a thought

Hi, I have a 1.67 powerbook w/live5.2. The performance leaves a lot to be desired. Try a external firewire drive. I run the application on my internal, and record to an external firewire drive. My internal is 7200rpm, most stock laptops are 5400rpm. that is a big factor. I can run about 12- 18 track...

The main outputs on the ultralite show up as 1/2 in Live. Output 1/2 shows up as 3/4 in Live in the audio preferences. Is that the problem?

Appreciate the replies.. I went with 24 bit. Storage is cheap, and I am charging for this project. I believe that I did hear a difference. this recording is new age flute project with much space in between. I believe it's quieter than my usual efforts...side note- cascade ribbon mics were use on thi...
