Did you know you can use dropbox to collaborate online?
just save your project to your shared drop box folder with all samples (collect all and save) and share that folder to another user.. plugins will have to be the same on both computers or only use native plugins. you can almost be working on it at the same time but you will have to hit collect all a...

Push shows Scene Name on LCD
Would be super helpful if Push would show the Scene name I typed on the LCD.
Would just give us a reference of why the scene holds if we are naming them descriptively etc..

Trying to figure out why Live grey's out my automation lines
I can't figure out why ableton keeps greying out my automation lines while playing back a recorded automation sequence with multiple automatons on one channel .. also I should note that the main automation lane directly under the channel keeps switching view to the different automations CC's I used ...

Re: Applying swing to notes created with step sequencer in Push
Ya it certainly does work better when you use the MPC swing from the groove pool so IDK Here is the article I was thinking of.. You can always use the Abelton groove pool instead till Ableton get there stuff together about the swing and quant. http://www.attackmagazine.com/features/roger-linn-swing-...

Re: Applying swing to notes created with step sequencer in Push
Ya your right thanks for pointing that out. It does work but it just sucks. They are probably trying to mimic the swing algorithms like and MPC or Lin drum where it just swings every other note or how ever they say. Every other 1/8 note or whatever. My problem is with the quantize. How come it doesn...

Record/Resample audio directly into a Sampler.
I would like for Ableton to be able to record audio directly into a sampler so that way I can resample other audio channels into a sampler and edit the start/end points or loop positions, also to be able to record into a drum rack that already contains samplers in the pads that way I can get more of...

Re: Applying swing to notes created with step sequencer in Push
according to the vids they say push quantize button and hold it down then you get the swing amount on the LCD and then that is supposed to apply swing to already recorded material. also I believe you can hold down that pad you want swing on in the drum rack and then turn the swing knob, but I would ...

Sustain pedal plugged into push to automate global record.
Is it possible to remap a sustain pedal to turn on and off the global record button in ableton when connected through Push? I have never used a sustain pedal but I use another midi pad "Kontroller" to do this function right now, but would rather have a real pedal down there. looking at som...
