Btw the video was made on my notebook. I now have a much more powerful machine optimized for music making and the issue is the same.

Unfortunately, you can't do that. You have to hold the pad of the note in order to nudge the note (or adjust velocity etc.). Note editing is my main disappointment with Push 2.
