Thanks for the extensive explaining, really appreciated
I will be on Windows, but if this method works great on a mac, then I will try it on my 2009 macbook as well.

Re: Ordering Push 2 in EU - no paypal option?
Alright, I shouldn't rage about it. And I do understand that it probably is impossible to charge people that send in deficient Push 1s. But on the other hand, as an early adopter for a pricy product (I think we agree that this involves a high level of trust from the customer), I just expected a litt...

Re: Ordering Push 2 in EU - no paypal option?
I just noticed, the Paypal option becomes available when NOT turning in a Push 1. Basically Ableton doesn't trust their long-term customers, that bought expensive products before. Now that I'd like to make another expensive purchase, as well as doing them a favor by turning the Push 1 in for a shit ...

Re: Harddrive-friendly setup viable?
Anyone with a solution on the 'most economical way' of installing Live?
Simply put, I want as less as possible on my laptop HD, to prevent it to become sluggish.

Harddrive-friendly setup viable?
My wish is to keep my older laptop as clean as possible, so it can run ableton smoothly. Is this a great option? Laptop SSD: Ableton Live installation External SSD (USB): All VSTS (NI Komplete, Diva, pretty heavy stuff) All samplepacks Ableton projects --- I'm using midicontrollers, but don't care t...

Ordering Push 2 in EU - no paypal option?
Would like to buy one, but can only select the creditcard option. Even though it says paypal is supported.

Re: Controlling Komplete Browser
Hmm i guess we need the Kore machine for that?
The Kontrol S looks like a perfect option, but only if you use NI Komplete. For using other VST's, it is extremely limited in its use.
Not sure if i am going to slap down 600 EU on the counter for a company that's only after your money.

Re: iPad synths and daws
Korg Gadget has a lot of versatality to offer. The built in synths sound pretty alright. The effects are mostly built inside the synths, and sound not too great. Also not very enthusiastic about the standard drumkits it offers. You can boost this app with a sampler (use your own stuff), and the pian...
