Lexicon Omega Studio and Ableton Live
Any experiences with the Lexicon Omega Studio and the Lexicon USB ASIO drivers with Live on the PC? I am in the market for a new audio interface, and the Omega seems like the best value for money on USB (don't need FireWire). However, the Lexicon web site has no setup information for Live, just Cuba...

Nothing is indispensable, but Operator is damn good. It just beckons you to tweak it. It is tightly integrated into Live, which for some may not be a good thing, but if you accept the fact that it is Live-specific, then it is more than OK. The Covert Operator patches are also a wonderful set of soni...

Thank you both for the replies! I tried unlocking on a third user account: success, with no complaints from Live. Didn't need to copy the unlock file. Seems all settled now! I vaguely remember originally installing Live just for my account, as I didn't think at the time others would be using it. Wha...

Unlocking Live for multiple users on same computer?
This is something I can't find in the FAQ or forum search, or maybe I just can't read, so bear with me: I have Live 4 bought, installed, unlocked and registered on my PC. It is running Windows XP and there are also other user accounts on it. Now it seems that the Live unlocking is user-specific: I h...

One more vote for the Audio-Technica ATH-M40fs. I've been using them for four months now, very satisfied. Being closed-type, they isolate background noise well, and actually you get a very sturdy bass out of them. Good for mixing and for casual listening. They can also take insane volumes, not that ...

Proteus X multiple outs - can use all but first one
Hi, wonder if anyone can reproduce this: I am using Proteus X v1.5 VSTi with Live 4.1.2. I have set the number of VST output buses to 16 (one for each MIDI channel). I add Proteus X to a MIDI track and then route its individual outputs to separate audio tracks to use Live's audio effects on them. Ho...

Updated CM-505 VST, now Live 4.1.2 crashes
Hi all, something weird just happened. I had used LinPlug's CM-505 VST on Live 4.1.2 on a PC/Windows XP, and decided to update it to the latest version that came with Computer Music March 05 issue. I copied the new CM505.dll over the old one, started Live and loaded the set that used CM-505. Immedia...
