Re: The forking of the arrangement roads - how do you do it?
-there's no 100% correct way of achieving results. anyone can achieve amazing interesting results using tools in very different ways ----i don't even like using the arrangement if i dont have to (not because i dont understand it---but because i do and I just dont want to bother with it), i will just...

Re: The forking of the arrangement roads - how do you do it?
the arrangement view is for that last 10% of the process. just to add the special stuff, and also so you can see everything laid out in front of you.
you are starting to use the arrangement view at probably the 50% mark of the process, this is not efficacious.

Re: The forking of the arrangement roads - how do you do it?
i spend as little time as possible in arrangement mode, i do all the main arranging in session mode. when you arrange and compose in session mode, it makes changing and re arranging things incredibly easy. the tough part is learning how to arrange in session mode

Re: Ableton reverb is not that bad!?
holy shit i just downloaded all that TAL gear, it's WAYYY better than the ableton reverb. like not even clost. haha thanks the conv verb in max is really good, but i literally never use it, because it's too intensive, reverb pro adds about 10% cpu just by draggin in, the normal non pro one adds 5%

Re: BeatRepeat should have a "no quant" record option
the repeat button is quantized to always start on the first downbeat of every bar. if u have it set to one bar . it always "snaps " . ie. it's the same thing as beat retrig mode for the arp if the arp was set to 1bar retrig . it doesn't just sample the first bar of audio once u hit repeat....

Re: Why Am I Getting Clipping?
.youre making this way more complex than it is. its a dj set. whenever i have ever set out to do a dj set, i have never even thought about "mastering" each track ...i just mix the songs together, if one is really loud compared to the other, than you just dont push the fader up as high. the...

Re: Why Am I Getting Clipping?
the best mode for warping DJ style tracks is re-pitch, and you have to manually set the transients. if you are going to do a set with varying bpms on each track

an actual Live midi effect so it's maximum stability. I like the max ones but they are so massively unstable that they basically useless in a real live performance . make it ultra basic but my most desired feature would be to be able to macro the number of steps . Given the fact MIDI clips are the ...
