How to keep your productions interesting
Alright guys I've been producing for quite a few years now, and feel confident that my actual sounds are at a good standard. One thing that i feel could be improved upon is the way that i structure my tracks and develop them. Maybe it's because i listen to them too much as i produce, but i always fe...

Re: Live 9 Automation Points.....
Awesome, thanks for taking the time to upload those (or repost them). Think i understand the concept now, will check it out tonight tips: 1. as you move the mouse pointer closer to an automation line it will change color to highlight the line and then individual points: WATCH 2. to lower/raise a sel...

Re: Live 9 Automation Points.....
The issue i have is that when i create a number of points (4 for example) in order lower/higher the automation point i have selected, it moves the entire automation line. I also end up creating shit loads of points, way more than what i intended....it's far too finicky I also liked the previous vers...

Re: NI Reaktor Users.....
Thanks for checking it I've done a few courses with Pointblank which have generally been pretty good. The Sound Design Course had some really good stuff in it, although i found that too much time was spent on Reaktor. It's also pretty pricey, with their hook being the DVR's (Digital Video Responses ...

NI Reaktor Users.....
About a year or so back i built an Analogue Synth in Reaktor as part of the 'Sound Design' course i did with Pointblank. It's a nice synth with some decent presets that i created, and i've just checked the NI user forum for the first time in ages and noticed it's had almost 1000 downloads, with good...

Re: How to Best Position Studio Equipment in a New Room
Thanks Sam, that's a great article I also read your Push article and i completely agree with you on most points. I'm struggling to get a whole track down and find myself distracted by all the features and just end up going off on a tangent. It's almost like when i play Grand Theft Auto, i never end ...

How to Best Position Studio Equipment in a New Room
So we had a baby a few weeks ago which means my studio room is slowly being converted into a baby room. Not ideal. Anyway, i've decided to move all my gear downstairs into the front room (Which currently doesn't get used for anything). Its a decent sized room and i'm not sure at this stage where's b...

Re: 64bit Live & JBridge Issues
The only thing i have done is created a link to my samples which are on my external HD. I have created the link in the "Places" part on the browser (Which is new to Live 9 i believe) I checked the Activity Monitor and the Ableton Indexing disappeared after the first couple of minutes. Sayi...
