Re: clip loop brace to be midi selectable
yes, use the command key on a mac, not sure on PC, and arrow up/down to half or double loop length and left/right to adjust by division. However, you have to select clip and then select the loop bracket. I agree that some sort of midi assignment that would automatically adjust length on any selecte...

clip loop brace to be midi selectable
what i am aiming for is to be able to half/double the loop length without having to use the pointer to select the loop brace.

Re: what launchpad stand is sub-focus using?
not sure specifically about that one, but it's most likely just some manner of laptop stand, you'll probably want something like this: http://www.westenddj.co.uk/Product/MAGMA/Racks_and_Stands/LAPTOP-STAND/ for the situation you are describing. or save £40 [in the uk] and get this: http://www.mapli...

Re: MIDI limiting note range.
i've tried to do it with the midi plugins, can't get the result i want though.
what i'm trying to do is limit the range of incoming midi notes by folding anything above or below a range back into that range.
eg: c0 to b0 is the range.
a note comes in at d3
so it get's folded back to d0?

Re: MIDI sync weirdness
I've found MAD crazy drifts when going over standard MIDI input/output on hardware. If you're running macbooks with 10.4 or later - just connect the two via ethernet or crossover cable (both werk - I use ethernet all the time, not crossover) Go into your Audio/Midi setup in OSX Create a new Session...
