Sunvox looks pretty good, not tried it myself but everything seems to be there, it's a tracker but that's probably well suited to a phone screen. Reviews are very good.

A Max Objects thread
Would be a very useful sticky to have on the forum imho. After making a simple reverb from an external from another device (originally found on a french website apparently) earlier in the week, I had a bit of a hunt around the net for other reverb externals that might exist. Lots of obscure old thre...

Last nite I downloaded a great little Max4Live synth called Whitebox Baconfist 1.5 ( http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device/1357/whitebox-baconfist ) and noticed it had a reverb section. I couldn't resist nicking the parts out of it to see if I could hack together a separate audio device. It turne...

Re: Audio Efffects Rack with Radio Buttons - is it possible?
I'm pretty sure that if no audio is being processed by a rack chain (or any Ableton plugin in an 'on' state) they burn zero cpu. Chains are actually a really good way to change 'patches' without creating clicks and buzzes, theoretically you can have as many as you like and it won't increase your cpu...

Re: Free presets for Tension, Analog & Operator
n/p, glad you like them. I've not used eXT for ages, never really 'felt it' since version 2 to be honest, a shame too because V1 really was very innovative.shadx312 wrote:Thanks for the presets, Martyn. I have high hopes for "Banjo Penis"
You still use eXt a lot?

Re: Crashes while usin Amplitube 3
@ Per Boysen. I know it's a hellova workaround but have you tried shelling Amplitube in M4L using the vst~ object? I recently did it with a plugin called Lost Technology, unusable in Live since 8.2. I created a new gui mapped to the plugins native controls and even added a very usable preset save/re...

Re: Recommend some online guitar instruction?
Meh, you just need to re-balance it, re-tune to something like dadgad, re-balance the trem then stick with that tuning for a couple of weeks to see how it feels. Tbh you can't really use many of the really low ones without using much heavier strings anyway, I just pasted the list I had to hand to ma...

Re: Recommend some online guitar instruction?
I recommend dropping the pick and re-learning just using your fingers. It's worth trying some alternative tunings, it puts you in very unfamiliar territory and makes it impossible to slip into your ruts. Even your mistakes can throw up unusual voicings so it's worth recording everything and hacking ...

Re: Wisp - The Shimmering Hour
Thanks for the grooveshark link there, just listened to this a few times today and will definitely be buying a copy too.
I wasn't aware of Wisp, I like this a lot.
Cheers.

Re: cltout to reach parameters in AAS Analog?
I think so, I've not dipped too far into Max for a while but I'm pretty sure they made racks fully available on the last update, surely they must have made the Macros available. *edit* Well i can definitely see them from any of the new API tools devices but then I can see all of Analog's parameters ...
