Re: finally... BITWIG STUDIO! beta 'soon'...
The new from ground up programmed software of Bitwig is up to date and uses the latest technology to make use of today's processors. Live's software isn't competitive in that way and full of bugs. I can run the same amount of VST's in StudioOne at half CPU ! Definitely, Studio One runs sooo much fa...

Lol, no I mean that I already have an audio interface, and with 'push' it looks like Ableton's going to start developing branded hardware. Sorry for the confusionSzuumm wrote:Where did you get an Ableton audio interface? I'd like to check that out.dnbhallifax wrote:An Ableton audio interface? Got one already

Re: finally... BITWIG STUDIO! beta 'soon'...
just this little gif gary posted makes me think bitwig is being created by guys who actually used Live and were always trying to get the most out of it's workflow. Some of the Abes employee responses during beta testing was what I have expected from them over the years "why would you want to d...

User templates (AS IN MORE THAN A DEFAULT) & Grouped Groups!
Man I was hoping they'd sneak at least one of these into 9 as they are No Brainers, requested over and over, and Insanely practical... Multiple User Templates PLEASE! C'mon Ableton is the only DAW that doesn't let you make more than 1 template. I would venture to say that almost 1/2, if not more tha...

Re: Native 32-Bit VST support PLEASE
Yeah but on the same token, they lose just as many customers by not implementing a 32 bit bridge. I know as a registered 8 user, I don't plan on spending anything anytime soon and upgrading to 9 simply because of incompatibility. Why would I want to open a session I started in 8, upgrade, only to fi...

Re: Native 32-Bit VST support PLEASE
Wait a minute, don't jump on this guy, the reality is its pathetic that ableton didn't plan on incorporating some kind of 32 bit bridge. 4+ years to develop live 9 and this current version of 9 is the junk they put out? A rebranded version of the glue, some silly gui emhancements, a better browser a...

It sucks and It has been soooooooooo dumbed down. SUCKS!!
(I think Ableton is moving in the direction of killing themselves out of the market they worked hard to create. Closing the users help forum is only going to hurt them. I hate FAQ! )

Re: 64 Bit and Time code Generator please.
Unfortunately I don't think Live will ever take the filmscoring crowd serioulsy (which is ridiculous.) Obvioulsy Logic, Cubase, Pro Tools etc are great alternatives - and I'm guessing you use one of these already. I could understand wanting to use live because it can be very quick to work in in many...

Re: finally... BITWIG STUDIO! beta 'soon'...
Sorry that was a poor use of stereo typical generalization i know there are some brilliant american minds out there. Totally, Thomas Edison for example was really just a snake oil salesman. Who ever thought that anyone would ever want to listen to recorded music? What was that other useless merican...

Ability to export groups only in the export dialogue
Groups in Ableton are great. It is probably one of my favorite features... Unfortunately, sending stems to labels, mastering engineers and remixers is daunting when I set the export to "all tracks". I wind up exporting and deleting tons of unwanted duplicate stems (that are the entire poin...

Re: finally... BITWIG STUDIO! beta 'soon'...
Can you sketch out a track in the performance window and record it onto the timeline (This is exactly why I use Live when I need to work fast....) or is it drag and drop only?
Either way thanks for the heads up, it sounds like it's a long way off from being released...

the Agada (Jewish Mythology) says Nephilim were fallen/rejected angels who came to earth to have their ways with Human women... and children ... and animals ... they were supposedly giants... so big that if one stands in front of you.. a shadow 'falls upon you' ... Re: finally... BITWIG STUDIO! beta soon...
Hey guys, I got some news. A friend is beta testing. The good news: In general, it aparently rocks.. You can have native plugs controlling each other, and its mapable like Lives style of one click maping macros. Ex: You can have the lfo from one synth to modelate the filter of another. Sounds like ...
