i also didn't have maxplug.dll. the others were in system32.

loaded a max device and it worked.

anybody have news? i had been sending crash logs but haven't had a reply in a bit.

there is a utility that opens refill files and then you can extract them. i did that to the reason sound bank.

Yeah, I've had the max trial and it expired in the past.

I'm on mac os 10.6.2, Yesterday it crash at startup, Today I formatted my drive and it work fine. I'm not sure but I think that the problem come from Suitcase Fusion (font manager), so maybe a font problem because in MAXMSP I couldn't see any text (maybe the font use for MaxMSP not present in my sy...

i had xp sp2, then got sp3. crashed with both.

getting the same error ("A Serious Error Has Occured...") when I drag a .rx2 file. with the max devices the error message would pop up once i let go of the mouse button. but for .rx2 files it pops up the second the file hovers over the session view. don't know how related these things are....

a blank error message pops up. same thing happens when live starts. emailing newly created preferences folder with log.

i'm not really surprised it doesn't work, but i've been preparing for max for live ever since it was announced and hoped for the best. christ i even have an organizer with device ideas.

sent full preferences folder zipped.

hope the problem gets sorted out soon. i don't know why i bought this on the first day.

i decided to be an idiot and buy max for live expecting it to work.

when i drag any m4l device, the splash pops up and then the "a serious error has occurred" message.

i always liked stratosphere best. and rubycon. and tangram. i can't listen to them everyday, but when i'm in the mood its the best stuff in the world.
