i think i found the reason for the problem of strange context menus. it's quite simple: live does not recongize the mouse to be over a clip when the clip is quite small and the mouse is near to its border. when i just zoom in a bit i was able to see the right context menu. hope this works in all sce...

well i guess the most answers for production is because most people are using it for. (?) pitty the dj stuff is buggy and complicated. (the only thing which was working proper is midi sync) maybe i don't understand the philosophy but i hear what i like, i know how to reproduce it the most direct way...

if a lfo is not synced to beat it is totally free. however, i'd like to have synced it once to start pos of the song to get exactly the same result any time i play the song. (the lfo's timer basis shall be the absolute song position, even for random lfos.)

one additionall note:

my setup includes a midi loop. however, also if i break the loop the problem appears. and beside of that also if there would be a midi loop it must not cause different controller-events to be generated. looks to me like a memory protection fault inside live.

that requires some additional clicks but it's working good. (normally i don't need comments to remember what to do.)
