Re: Scroll Wheel Zoom - For the love of GOD! Please.............

How is this still not a thing? The code is surely there to do it? Just call the functions that are made for the ruler-drag zoom and attach them to mouse events! The majority of us could probably do this in 10 minutes if we had the code.

Re: [sharing step sequencers is fun] ML-185

It's pretty buggy and I haven't quite got time to work on it at the minute. As soon as I do though, I'll let you guys know.

Re: [sharing step sequencers is fun] ML-185

Sorry for the massive bump.

This sequencer is incredible, thanks! I was looking for a good 16-note sequencer, but couldn't find one, so I took the best 8-note one and modified it.

Never seen this before. That fixed the issue, thanks!

Push MIDI mode encoder values changing quickly

When mapping my encoders to a parameter in Ableton the value changes as expected in one direction, but extremely fast in the other. Is this a known bug or am I missing something?

Re: Ubermap (Alpha, Mac-only): Simple Push parameter remapping

Just as I thought I had it working perfectly, the mappings seem to revert back to "Bank 1" etc about 10 minutes into using them. Has anyone got any ideas as to why this is happening?

Re: Ubermap (Alpha, Mac-only): Simple Push parameter remapping

Thanks. Whats the reason behind making an instrument rack as opposed to just dragging the vst onto a midi channel? Do I have to do anything special with the instrument rack? The instrument rack is the only way to save what parameters you have exposed in the "Configure" section, if you just drag in ...

Re: Ubermap (Alpha, Mac-only): Simple Push parameter remapping

Shouldn't need a clean install (unless other stuff is broken) as the install script will clean up the old version. Of course, nothing wrong with a clean install if you'd prefer :) Yeah, I did a clean install just to be on the safe side. Works as expected now for plugins with a small amount of param...

Re: Ubermap (Alpha, Mac-only): Simple Push parameter remapping

Could you try the latest version? I think this should be fixed... or at least, the main scenarios work for me (using a device with a custom mapping, using a Live device without a custom mapping, creating a new mapping file). Sure, I'll do a fresh install of Ableton (Suite, 32bit 9.1.1) and run the ...

Re: Ubermap (Alpha, Mac-only): Simple Push parameter remapping

Fixed it. Using an older version seemed to work (plus copying the files manually). I've followed the instructions carefully, and I'm pretty sure that all files have been installed to the correct directories, but when I load a plugin, no CFG file is created for it in /user/Ubermap. This is my log out...

Re: Performing live & jumping out of loops.

Thanks. I'm using it in a DJ environment alongside 2xCDJ900. What I might just do is use the CDJs to play the tracks but intercept the ProDJLink message and grab the currently loaded song. From that I could get Ableton to select the appropriate page of samples instead of having to manually find each...

Re: Performing live & jumping out of loops.

This changes a lot. Thanks man, this is really useful.

Edit:

Also, can I just ask; How many songs do you get in doing it this way? And how do you know which song you are currently looking at?

Re: Performing live & jumping out of loops.

As space is relatively limited on the push, I thought it would make much more sense to simply jump out of the loop.

Performing live & jumping out of loops.

I've set up my live sets so that I can use push to perform them. I've chopped up tracks so that once I launch a clip, it starts playing, for example, from the start of the breakdown until it reaches 4 bars before the drop, where it loops (if it doesn't sound cheesy). I was wondering if there was a w...
