Re: Where is "Analogue Filter"?
Digital audio will pass through at least one analogue filter before it reaches your ears.

The user interface on all Logic instruments are pretty bad, it has to be said.

Re: On-Stage amplification questions, concerns, etc
I run my setup to FOH (Very rare to find anywhere that can't do stereo) and either use in-ears or monitors provided by the venue. In rehearsals I'd use headphones to monitor and provide a bit of protection for my ears from the drums & amplifiers. Unless you're only doing organ/electric piano typ...

Any audio interface with a microphone pre-amp with a combined XLR and jack input should be adequate.

Re: Soft synths?????
Operator is a workhose. Collision can be usefull. electric is a one trick Pony. I dont care for tension and analog lacks sound quality for its intended role (analog sound), operator is better for a lot of the stuff analog does. Analog is absolutely fine. Have had people asking me what synth was mak...

Re: Waves Renaissance Bass FREE!
 after you run the installer and choose RBass from the list of plugins.. you shouldn't have to move any file. Go to Live preferences and turn 'use vst system folder' off then on.... Rescanning plugins after opening Live will make them appear. But yeah, the Waves installation process is a bit ...

Re: How could a socialist economy work?
The theory is not responsible for all possible events. Are you blaming global warming on climate science while you're at it? Of course not, because the two are not comparable. How can you compare economics to the study of how the natural world works? Do you have any idea why the 'attempts' at socia...

Re: How could a socialist economy work?
The theory so far has only led to failed attempts to impose socialism on the masses and as we know, wasn't socialism. The theory is not responsible for all possible events. Are you blaming global warming on climate science while you're at it? Of course not, because the two are not comparable. How c...

Re: How could a socialist economy work?
The very basis of Marxism is going "This is a bit shit, lets do something else", then doing it, then others going "Oh wait, there is a better way" and then doing that... Careful now, the man has quotes and he's not afraid to use them. Perhaps he needs to take a new perspective o...

Re: How could a socialist economy work?
The main question is how would we determine the allocation of resources without the capitalist market? Without 'supply and demand'. Build it up rather than expect governments and the rich to change. Prove to people that these ideas work in reality rather than on paper and that they can achieve exac...

Re: Serious topic - ask the expert: Marxism
One thing about British lefties is they could tell you all about the Bolshevik revolution, but probably couldn't tell you much about Lloyd George's "People's Budget" and British history around the same time. Lloyd George was my ex's great grandfather or something like that. I bet you didn...
