i've had a go with cubase every now and then over the years and i absolutely despise the thing i cant be bothered to learn a piece of software that i find clumsy - awkward and slow to use, just for a possibble slight increase in sound quality.. personally i'd rather spend time making my mixes sound ...

yea this is somethin i've wondered.. have allways been at the mercy of a venues tables and all that last gig i supported a band in a bar - no dj box in sight - indeed table was too low.. a good lappy support should be really portable... i'd need a surface ideally big enough to support my laptop and ...

i plug my laptop into ma acer 32inch lcd tv just for playing games really..

i tried using ableton on it, and it fills the screen but everything is just huge.. i get alot less channels and stuff on it than i do my laptop monitor..
