Re: Anyone try the new Ozone 5
Bought Ozone 4 a number of months ago, got an e-mail today from iZotope with an upgrade serial for 5. Awesome. Haven't had a chance to mess with it too much, but I like the interface updates. Feels less Matrix-y. Based on the upgrade list alone I don't think I would have paid for it, but I'm defini...

Quickly creating sweeps, risers, etc
Hey team-
I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on how to quickly create interesting sweeps, risers, drops, etc.
Thanks!

Kore 2 users: post-discontinuation update experiences.
During all of the Kore 2 discontinuation, I have become a bit confused what exactly will and will not work after this latest batch of updates. I'm running Kore 2 with Komplete 5, and I know the latest updates change the file formats used by various programs. What have your experiences been with all ...

Re: NI Forums...
Yeah, sorry for the thread jack...
I think I'll try a new thread to see what's what with the Kore updates, before I go installing anything. To those of you who have made suggestions, thank you. I will look into them.

...and in other cases the product just plain sucked. That, sir, is a matter of opinion. People are upset about Kore being discontinued, Maybe, but I'm more upset that updates are removing functionality. I've got a slew of updates waiting for me in the Service Center, and if I'm understanding correc...

Re: NI Forums...
I just wanted to threadjack for a moment and say that no matter how awesome Reaktor 6 is, no matter how great Traktor Pro 3 might be, I may very well NEVER EVER EVER EVER buy another Native Instruments product. What a bunch of asshats.

Re: transferring VHS to Mac
Ion (the OTHER Alesis/Numark/Akai brand) used to make a VHS player with a USB port. You could record to your computer with the software available on their website. I picked one up at a thrift store for five bucks. I've only used it once, and while the results were not professional archive quality, i...

Re: Do you know how I know I'm old?
Feels like these days if any successful artist does something that is slightly different from the strict formulaic boundarys that define their genre, a new subgenre has to be born, as asshole hipster bloggers rush to stay ahead of the crowd. Glambient. Let's start dropping it in casually and see ho...

I'm laughing at this thread because I generally ignore 98% of the stuff that goes on in the lounge, and I have no idea who pissed off the Germans and got banned this week.

Re: Do you know how I know I'm old?
@Luddy- Probably not. It just doesn't feel right to say a word that sounds like that. At least with a straight face. Anyone around these parts remember Meepyflop? :D @Condra- Yeah, I never understood the obsessive genre creation. Who knows. Maybe this swing in popularity of electronic music will bea...

Do you know how I know I'm old?
I know I'm old because COMPLEX-TRO is the dumbest name I've ever heard. Jesus Christ.
