Within MIDI prefs you should the following settings:

Control Surface: padKONTROL
Input: padKONTROL (Port 2)

Under MIDI ports

Input: padKONTROL Input (padKONTROL
Track - On
Remote - on

So padKontrol should be there, otherwise contact Ableton support...

Which version of Live are you using? padKontrol support was added in Live 7.

What do you mean with auto remapping. If you select the padKontrol in your MIDI prefs then it will work fine, be sure that your padKontrol is set to Scene 1 (check your display)...

Would be great if you could drag samples form Impulse into a Drum Rack... I think a Drum Rack is much more powerful than Impulse so an easy way to convert an Impulse track to Drum Rack is very helpful...

Live works fine in Leopard...! Both version 7 beta and latest 6 release...

Don't forget to select the time that you want to render...

Looks like your preferences file is corrupt... deleting it will solve your issues!

This means that one of your VSTs has crashed... move outdated VSTs and VSTs that you're not sure off to your desktop and try starting Live again... when it doesn't crash quit Live and move one-by-one the VSTs back until you've found the one that causing the issue...

But I don't know if this is related to your issue.... try increasing the latency in Live to see if the problem goes away...

Which version of Reason are you using?

Be sure to use Reason 3.0.5 and Live 5.2.2!

Please be aware that only if you have a real slow Mac and you're updating your disk all the time (that is not very likely if you're working on your next nr. 1 record... these solutions will make any difference...
