Re: KRK Rokit 6 monitor makes Click-sound when turned off
Turned the levels of my audio interface down before turning them off, multiple times and it seems to solve the problem. I am just wondering now, how it is possible (theoretically) that it always happens with only 1 monitor (in my case left) and not with both? Also I was told in the past that you alw...

Re: KRK Rokit 6 monitor makes Click-sound when turned off
Hey rnicholas_62, Thanks for the reply. In a way I'm glad to hear I'm not alone having this problem, and that there is a "rather simple" solution for it. I will try turning the volume down next time before turning the monitor off, which hopefully will solve this. I also have a Focusrite so...

KRK Rokit 6 monitor makes Click-sound when turned off
Recently I noticed that one of my KRK Monitors make a loud Click/Pop sound when I switch it off. It's not every time, but very random (to my knowledge). Is this a serious issue? Maybe something that can be solved easily? I sent the question above over a week ago to the KRK Customer Support, but I ha...

Re: Completely Non Stop Workflow
Yeah, the above... Or why do you need to turn of record on that track at all? You can just leave it running and start improvising on a different track. Or why don't you turn down the fader or mute that track (if it creates feedback otherwise?) I also suggest that you use the session view, because it...

Re: Mixing sub bass!
Concerning your "Monitor problem":
If you don't have very big speakers or a sub woofer you could check your low end with headphones on. Most headphones will have a frequency range that goes down to 20 Hz.

What sauce do you use to spice things up?
I was just wondering, since I had a discussion the other day about mixing inside the box and having your mixes or certain parts run through outboard gear. I decided to check out some outboard gear, to give my own mixes some of "that" flavor. I'm looking for a cheaper alternative than a SSL...

Re: Logic Studio 9 vs Ableton live 8 Suite
+1 for Supa Ninja's comparison. I've been using Live for a few years now. Last week I tried to make a song for the first time in Logic. Inspiration doesn't come so easy in Logic, because it's so straight forward. But the 16 bar loop I have now, I just started to mix (polish) in Logic to check the po...

Re: Konkreet Performer - a new multitouch controller
I asked them 2 weeks ago if they would implement direct midi control instead of using Osculator in the near future. They said they're working on it. Same goes for smooth transitions between different save points. Used it yesterday to record some moving soundscapes, and I have to say, it's really a n...

Re: Your beats are bullshit
Nice to bring up such a timeless topic! We should have this more often on this forum, rather than start a new thread on a similar topic every 2 months... Now on the subject of the thread :) "Your beats are bullshit" is what we call a "dooddoener" in Dutch! Killing somethin...

True! I actually already convinced her
This weekend I will be playing with my new toys a little bit.
btw, Control looks nice, but a little bit too much DIY for me.

Thanks for all the great replies. I'm sold.
What I like most about this thread is to see how passionate you guys are about your products. Keep up the good work!!!
Now I'll only have to convince the wife I've got to spend more cash on iPad apps

Re: ipad controller apps for ableton.
... Since I've also bought an iPad recently and 've been looking into these controller apps last weekend, I was wondering what the difference is between using the morphing-part of Kapture and this awesome looking Konkrete Performer. I'd like to use the iPad as a controller to create new interesting ...
