For decent value/balance I would recommend Glasgow or Manchester.. I just hope you're not coming for the weather :D Sorry I can't help with the other questions. Remember tho - these places, like many heavily populated cities, can be pretty violent too, my friend. Good luck !!

Glasgow more rootsy, better bars and clubs imho.. Edinburgh is prettier and chock full of tourists like any capital city I spose. They are only 40 mins apart by train so no worries either way but I would live in Glasgow every time. Mon then wee man !!!

Yeah, I saw this a couple of days ago too.. was very excited as I remembered it from my pre-mac days but like RJ Dubya, it crashes Live on my MacBook every time.. experimental it is ! I await a more stable build with baited breath :P

use the "cubase" preset in the default factory presets...and it will work ah.. the irony, when the reason im looking at live 6 is to get rid of cubase :P thanks man, working now - bit disappointed to note that the 'labels' on the encoders don't change after automap but hey.. better than b...

Well, it is supposedly supported natively as it is listed in the control surfaces list, but like you I can't for the life of me get the microkontrol to 'automap' either.. have tried all combinations I can think of in the midi prefs, 'locking' an instrument to the mk etc.. bah :( What are others expe...
