Yeah, I've tried it in demo mode a bit. Didn't get real in-depth. I'm probably gonna get it. I just wanted to see how a poll might play out.

Yes sir, exactly what I would use it for. If I want something realistic, then I'll record it in most cases.

Thanks for the reply.

Not tryin' to shit on Justice or anything, I think they do some pretty decent stuff... but I smell a trend, and I think I'm gonna give it six more months. Maybe a year at best. :D And this is important to this thread because... why? It is a thread about Justice and their sound, right? I came to sai...

Just bought a brand new Macbook Pro and was gonna get an Ultralite. I haven't heard much about any problems. What's the deal?

Should I buy Sampler: yes or no???

Up till now, I've just mainly used Simpler. I've got Reaktor, but haven't really gotten into their samplers. I love the drag and drop, instant useability of Simpler/Sampler.

Curious... what you sample guys that have spent a lot of time with it think?

Cool - can you chime in on the next thread where somebody complains about Live's sound quality? ;) No shit. Of course, I only have one feeling about that. Shit In = Shit Out... Geoff Emerick could probably make a Tascam Portastudio sound amazing. Arguing over which sounds better: Logic or Liv...

This plugin kills. Just downloaded the new version today, can't wait to use it. The last version was really held back by not being able to save. Now that is cleared up, I'm gonna rock this thing right out of style...

:D

Thanks Dan!

What?? There are more successful independent labels than ever before. Of course, there are simply more independent labels than ever before, as well.

Did i miss something here? So this is all german Techno and no idm, isnt it? The thread evolved man. Aphex Twin is pretty much the quintessential IDM artist, yeah? But the guy put out everything from acid to breakbeat to ambient. Journos threw out the idm net in an effort to group or categorize all...

So, I think I'm gonna forget about a mixer for now, and use the the software that comes with Ultralite. Might end up getting a mixer later. So: Machinedrum (maybe Monomachine sometimes) and Kaoss Pad into the Ultralite, Ultralite provides MIDI sync to Elektron gear. Ultralite into new Macbook Pro, c...

Total bummer. Best not to leave gear in your car unattended. In fact, never leave anything of value in your car unattended. Not tryin' to be a dick towards Dusty Brown, just a friendly reminder to everyone around here. I've had friends who have had the same thing happen to them. Saw on their myspace...

For the Eminem clip, that's why I put the word "freestyle" in quotes; it's second-hand freestyling...there still an art to being able to rock any number of one-liners in your head at any given time, over any given beat. Much like a jazz player is still playing lots of licks in an improvis...

thing is there is some kickass rap out there and u know what id take eminem over that stuff anyday too Eminem in his prime was a creative force to be reckoned with! His first album is a hip-hop classic, brilliantly cartoonish and disturbing at the same time. Check out this "freestyle": ht...
