no problem, just trying to be thorough and make sure to myself that i didnt make it up about it being a sampler. im looking forward to it as well. also im not saying its an mpc killer, just that you won't read a review of it where those words don't come up. the backlit pads part has me excited. and ...

Inputs and outputs include four audio outs, two sampling /audio processing/drum trigger inputs, phones, USB, MIDI in/out, two expression pedal/foot switch inputs, and four additional direct voice outputs for the Analog model. im thinking its a sampler. the two sampling/audio processing... bit gives...

well its got a dedicated sample button and you expand the 16meg memory by sticking a CF card in the back (which it streams samples off of in realtime). if its only a sequencer you probably don't need the 2gig or 4gig memory limit that a CF card is going to give you. like i said, its a sampler. it mi...

you could use the velocity midi effect that is built into live. you can use it basically like a compressor for incoming midi velocities. in other words you can use it to remap your 20-40 to 20-127 if you'd like. or to 60-100 or whatever range you want. just play around with it some. if you aren't su...

under the launch settings for each clip you can change it from being global to whatever you want.

you can set some to launch at 1 bar and others on 1/16 or 1/32 and even set others to none. setting a clip launch quantize to none means that it will launch immediately when triggered.

(or just keymap in live for what i want to do) basically i want to make a qwerty keyboard wi...

haha, i had explained all that, but then i re-read your original post and thought you were interested in other monome software and deleted it out. basically mute groups in live are "tracks" in session view. and you can take a loop and duplicate it 7 more times then manually move the start ...
