Well, ever heard of melodyne?

The stuff in the DAWs does not beat the flexibility of melodyne, so what is it good for ...? And the plugin version of melodyne make hardly any difference if any for the workflow between native or getting it right ...

There are other interesting and good transient tools ... Voxengo TransGainer and Schwa transient monster. I think TransGainer from Voxengo with all the flexibility it has, it really nice ... And there is another free 'attacker' plugin that does not need any response code, supports surroud and everyt...

also loved that one in Cubase .... (I did not like the implementation how it is done in Logic a lot, but in Cubase it was not bad)

a friend of mine has one ... Concerning the sound, I think it is ok ... for the money you get a nice little instrument ... No comparison to top notch hardware or software IMHO, but ok. The keyboard and manufacturing quality seems quite good as well.

I think the option to have sends pre/post fader/pan would be more in line and should be standard anyways ...

this way you can turn down the volume on the track without influencing the audio level of the send signal ...

hmmm, does M4L not also have jitter capacties? so the price of 499 may not the correct equivalent.
