WOW the NYC 5-boro tour sucked.
should've called it the 5-boro oversold traffic jam walk-your-bike-a-thon.
Awful. We decided not to finish it and just make our own route.

Re: So I made (another) dubstep track
It’s probably fine but I just don’t think a good remix tempo can be achieved with other outgoing and incoming tracks. A lot of the stuff from Bassnectar and similar artists lies in the 170-ish BPM tempo range. This one is 180 BPM. Since they're technically half-time, you could say they're running a...

Re: So I made (another) dubstep track
Thanks sir. Always flattered.
About the tempo, I actually toyed with a few different ones at first. Decided that I preferred it kind of slow like this for now.
And thanks for the reminder on the Lost Boys theme. Absolutely MUST be done.

Anyone going to be in NYC on May 5th (Cinco de Mayo)?
Not that Cinco de Mayo is any more special in NYC, but it just so happens that it will be coinciding with out monthly. So... yeah... if you're going to be in NYC, hanging out, doing shots, drinking beer, just getting into the overall typical 5/5 wasted foolishness, why not drop by LPR and do it with...

Years later, the "your sexy cat" portion of this thread still creeps me out.

Thanks!
Well... it seems like I'm hired. They said they'll make it official if I survive working the rest of the week.

I'm doing a "trial run" tomorrow at a local bike shop, for a possible part-time job. WUT
We'll see how it goes.

Aquatek. Nice frame. well, the colors leave a bit to be desired. BTW looks like Shimano 600 series. I have them on my old Cannondale that I strap a kid's seat onto so I can ride with my daughter. Nice components from back in the day. Thanks. It's a lovely frame. The groupset is actually shimano 105...

Re: Anyone using Adam A7 monitors with a subwoofer?
Cool. Thanks for your review on the A5/sub7 combo. Yeah, it's pretty common to have to adjust your monitoring system when you change or add an element. I'm prepared mentally for that. Might look into the Sub7 too, though I'm not sure if it would make such a big difference with the A7's. Low frequenc...

Anyone using Adam A7 monitors with a subwoofer?
Think it's pretty self-explanatory. I've been using my A7's for a little under a year now, and really enjoy them. Amazing clarity. They definitely do not lie. However, I do find myself resorting to other speakers and/or headphones to try and monitor the lower end. Thinking it's time I looked for a s...
