It's surprising this hasn't been implemented already - it seems quite a simple feature to add. All the other DAWs I've used have had much better keyboard customization for several versions.

For what it's worth I disagree. I like the way you can auto-hide plugins and have them appear when you only click on the track (which makes working on 1 monitor easy for me with Ableton, whereas for when I used Sonar it wasn't and 2 screens were useful). This would be my number 1 feature request. Damn it, this is my number 1 feature request.

Tabs for sets, or even better tabs for instrument type in arrangement view - i.e. rather than having to scroll up and down large sets, have one tab for drums, one for guitars, one for keys etc.

Albeton's customization of keyboard and mouse is basic and limited. I shouldn't have to write scripts in autohotkeys to do simple things like mute/unmute a clip my mouse is hovering over. Fingers crossed we'll get this in 9... fingers crossed there will be a 9
