Re: KVR Forums' Debates

heh - KvR forums are a fucking joke.... ... no really, they're seriously funny.... populated by a combination of embittered old plugin-hoarders and naive young plugin-hoarders.... all bitching at each other so they can avoid actually making any music... I'm pretty sure I saw someone ranting about ho...

Re: Why use Reason?

They're not designed to be all in one power-houses (no FX sections etc) - they're designed for you to experiment with - they invite you to be creative. Try layering up Operator, Analog and a Si...

Re: So help on style of music?

Electro? I'd read up on FM synthesis for filthy electro stuff.... but I'm no genre-expert...

I reckon everyone who wants to learn synth programming should check out Circle.

I personally think it sounds pretty weak, but its a great learning tool.

Re: OT: The death penalty for cracked software - too harsh?

1. Cracked software is theft 2. Cracking software is about a short-sighted as shitting in the corner of your room because you can't be bothered to go to the toilet 3. Re: OT: Life in the UK

I live in Oxford and its awfully nice. Everyone is terribly polite and most people wear tweed. Actually, Oxford is full of mindless 12-year-olds in fancy dress braying about how "awesome" everything is, mincing around Tescos in herds, driving up the property rental prices and not paying co...
