izotope RX is the dog's knees for this. i've cleaned up a handful of live recordings with it - excellent results once you figure how to use it properly. http://www.izotope.com/products/audio/rx/

I'm not crazy about the idea of running another layer of software to fix a base-level problem, but I am curious, can you use the freebie release of Kore that NI just announced in order to work around this problem? thats odd. just downloaded and it works fine here in massive 1.1.2 - both as standalone and as plugin in live 7.0.2. i have leopard too, but cant see how that would affect a preset.. :?:
