Re: Proudly collecting music gear and software for no purpose

I'm still gasing for the powered sub, to round out the sound for my synth/controller/daw rig...

It'd be kind of like the opposite of group therapy.
I'd rather get stoned and impulse buy hardware! A 1000 watt powered sub is calling me for my moog 37, and the new EHX cockfight is looking nice...

Re: 1995. This sentence was acceptable.

 I'm sitting on a pimped out roland jv1080 with the original dance expansion (pulled for copyright issues) card, the ethnic card, the hiphop card, and the techno card. Spent about $3,000 for the old rompler in th e90's. It's been dusted for over 10 years once I discovered reason/rewire back in...

No I kinda of prefer the Joan Baez, Pentagram, Bootsy, thing
Although the Scorpions/Micheal jackson perked my ears, especially since they did a version of virgin killers!

Re: I understand Keith Richards

The rolling stones were my first band that I was into as a tween over 30 years ago  before discovering heavy metal as a teenager..... Despite, great songs, etc, I lost track of the stones, until a few years ago when I read Keith's autobiography. I came from the rumor mill with all his drug use...
