Re: Just read the QUALITY statement
Guys I do truly love live, even though it might not seem like it based on some of my posts. And as far as stability at the moment I am probably above 90% as far as problems go. (win 7 64 bit, komplete 6, lauch pad, apc 40, lp8, lpk25, korg pad studio, reason 4/record, mpk 25...and so on). I will hav...

Re: Mixing question for live performace
Thanks for the utility tip....As dumb as I sound saying it I'd never really checked it out. Since I see that you master tracks for cash ya might not be able to give up the info you've work hard to learn but I know mono tracks are a better way to unclutterer my performances, Is there any thing else t...

Just read the QUALITY statement
So I just read the QUALITY statement issues before the new year.....I don't really know how to feel about this. i mean I think we all do agree that what we want is quality over quantity, but hearing ableton saying it jst made me realize that they want to apoligize for the last year of crashed, and I...

Mixing question for live performace
Quick question. I love to use a bunch of vst, loops, audio tracks and so on....I usually like to use vst jst like a band would (piano, bass, guitar, synth, 3-4 drumz tracks) Also at least 2 acapellas tracks, four loops tracks. The reason is so I can do everything on the fly and have all the elements...

Re: Buy 8 now or wait for 9?
I jst have to add my own comments and say that who ever said wait five months and then buy eight is the right idea. What I have learned about ableton, is that if you purchase their software when it first comes out you must be ready to deal with basically a public beta version of the software that yo...

Re: tracktor or serato which to buy??
I own both like alot of folks in the room. Jst to let ya know I would have said traktor UNTIL, serato jst came back with sl3 and 2.0 that is coming out. With four decks that did away with my main problem with serato. As far as the effect go we will have to see but I really am not to concerned with t...

How do I help with beta
I have done nothing but complain about haw live 8 was having problems in the beginning and now that I use it so much everyday I would like to help make sure that it does not crash. I am on win 7 and really have not had that many problems except a few times when I get the message live has experienced...

smart mixing in live 8 with traktor using win 7
I saw a small thread a while back about this but I got side tracked with other stuff. Since serato (even though the bridge is badass) forgot to allow us to rout the audio in live like so many of us are doing with traktor and torq, this means that I am going to have to use traktor/the bridge(serato a...

I do not spend any time in this chat room but I would love to make some suggestions that might have already been suggested 1. Re: PAD trigger quality APC versus LunchPad
I am a drummer trapped in a pad world so the pads are important. I would jst wait and see what someone else comes out with. soon enough akai will have something new in the velocity pad section soon. I really like the lp8 that I got. It is a compromise between m-audio new pads (with the thick rubber)...

Re: Live 8 and windows 7?
I was so worried about switching over to win 7 cause of all the problems I had on vista 64 with live 8. I switched over during the holiday and it works so well....I run it for the max my battery will go (four hours) at a time with vst's and more loops than anyone every needs to use and it is crushin...

Re: To buy a Launchpad?OR
To start I am not an akai rep(would love to be) jst giving ya the truth I have explored all these controllers. I've got the apc 40 and launchpad. I did a review somewhere on this site if you can find it. CONS Pirst off the plastic build and lack of stability is huge for me the circle pads under the ...

Re: Launchpad : tips n tricks, ideas, suggestions
feature suggestions 1. different kind of pads. I wish that novation would take a page from the korg pads and use the square type. This offers a stable ability to play the pad jst like the korg is meant for drummers. With the circle reaktor under the rubber means that you can miss the button unlike t...
