Mine left Apple yesterday.. got that wireless mouse already for my laptop and yes.. it's crap. The one with wire feels a bit better as far as I remember.

Multiple CPUs are definitely the future of the whole it market and just because Live can't take full advantage of them yet isn't a reason not buy them. I think it would actually be a bug if 10 tracks were sending to one return track and all of them were using the same core. It's technicaly no proble...

One thing I'd really like to see is a button which you can drag into Live to create a new midi clip from a Microtonic pattern. Guru got that....... And being able to freeze a (n in Microtonic) programmed pattern without needing to create an empty midi clip would be nice too.. but that's more a Live ...

Plugins like Kontakt and Reaktor could easily use another 4GB each..

Just noticed the benchmarks about 12GB were fucked up.. maybe I'll change the order to 8GB or 6GB. So what do those cheesy benchmarks (without any unit?!) mean exactly? http://www.barefeats.com/nehal04.html When we insert 8GB the 4GB are accessed by Live faster than 4GB will be accessed if we insert...

Hm after those latest results I think i'll go with the 6x2GB option. Propably it could be a bit cheaper to get the 4x2GB version and upgrade it afterwards with another 2x2GB but I'm too lazy for that.
