This is easy. Both Impulse and Guru have multiple outs, if you just want to seperate the sounds for mixing and fx purposes - you just create a bunch of audio tracks, and set "audio from" to the track that´s housing the Impulse, and the lower input drop-down menu will now show the seperate outs, with...

AWESOME!!!! I suspected it was something like this, pretty obvious but still not really intuitive from the menus - the only options I saw in the Shoutcast plugin window were either just playing files dropped into Winamp, or using the audio in plug.... This is great. If you are ever in Iceland, shoot...

Routing Audio from Live to Winamp Shoutcast: How?

I have a fairly spiffy computer that I have been playing around with setting up a Shoutcast server on to feed my local university campus net with music. Now I want to take the next step and set up a web-based radio station in my bedroom, so I can DJ the songs live just like a DJ, with dialogue inbet...

Your first stop should be the live wikipedia page. Tons of links to many things you are asking about...esp. the warping bit. There are a lot of warping guides out there, both as youtube videos and text descriptions. And you need an audio interface with two stereo outs. That´s the basic requirement,...

There´s the "Live method" Hit record, press play and trigger your loops and sounds, basically "jamming" your track from start to finish...press stop, and look at the arrangement view. It should have recorded everything you did. You can now go over the arrangement and make changes. Then there´s the "...

If you didn´t even know what warp is, I´d like to (politely) suggest that you at the very least skim the manual. It does contain a lot of useful info y´know :D

The first place to check is your Warp settings. Are your homebrewed loops warped? What warp mode are you in? And what is the bitrate of your wavs?

I would advise having all the different clips in one set. I don´t know about the MDP or the PadKontrol, but the Trigger Finger has 16 Memory slots, so you basically have 16x16 seperate pads. That should be plenty to cover all the different loops you want to trigger. Just map them correctly and make ...

A question about multiple audio interfaces

I have a TonePort UX2 which I absolutely love to death, but it only has one stereo out, which makes it unsuitable to DJing to the best of my knowledge, and that´s something I want to try... If anyone has any kind of soultion on how I might work around this limitation, it would be much appreciated. I...
