Just wanted to mention a few things ive noticed since i installed Live 9 (9.0.2) 32 bit mode on my mac osx 10.7.5.... Starting up Live seems to be quite slow now compared to 8, 8 used to load sets quick, now it takes ages. The menu bar across the top - file, edit, create, view etc....is missing when...

Is it possible to loop a clip in the arrangement? So instead of having to press 'Apple - D' to duplicate it loads, is there something to press and it just loops it all the way to the end of the song?

Thanks Peter, really appreciate that, i'll give it a go! I did notice in key commands - apple 9 and apple 0 are the commands for switching between the 2 values i want.....i'll see which i prefer.

How do you rewire max in to logic? I only purchased max4live, do I need to buy max msp?

Also, I'd like to run mono sequencer mainly at the moment. Would that be possible using the rewire you suggest?

hmmmm, i have just got M4L - i'd be interested to know how i could do that as its pretty important to me that i have the arrange view as 'none' and the session view as '1 bar'.....

If you know how it could be done i'd love to know.

Is it possible to capture record in ableton? like logic.

E.g you play your keyboard then press a command and it captures what you just played.....saving you having to hit record and play it in.

Is it possible to have a different value for the global quantization setting? So in arrangment view i could have 'None' and in session view i could have '1 bar'?

Hi,

I had the mono sequencer working fine, it was sequencing a sampler instrument, but now it keeps stopping after about 2 bars.....i even deleted the both midi channels, set them up again and its still stopping after 2 bars. Is there something i'm missing here or doing wrong?

I currently have Ableton Live 8, i am looking at getting Live 9 (Standard edition)....However, i purchased 'Sampler' for Live 8 a few months ago and i was wondering will i have to purchase Sampler again if i get Live 9 Standard edition?
